Student Life, Campus Activities Board sponsor ‘Show Me Democracy’

GRCC Student Life and Conduct, in collaboration with the Campus Activities Board, will be hosting a screening and Q&A of the film “Show Me Democracy” on MLK Day (January 15th) in 108 and 103 of Sneden Hall. Screening will take place from 1-2:30 p.m. and Q&A will proceed. Free parking will be provided to students who need it following the event. If you would like to bring a group of students of over 10, please RSVP for seating at thaliaguerraflores@grcc.edu. For questions please contact Thalia at the Student Life Office.

Amidst the uprising in Ferguson, seven St. Louis college students evolve into advocates and activists as they demand change through policy and protest and test the validity of the Margaret Mead quote: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
