Network name change automation

Information Technology is pleased to announce the automation of our new Network Name Change process. Beginning Wednesday, January 10, Information Technology will now be able to rename both student and staff accounts on demand. Previously, student name changes were only processed in between semesters.

Once a student or staff member has had their name updated in PeopleSoft through Student Records or Human Resources, respectively, they just need to give IT a call to schedule an appointment or submit the rename form. This rename process can take anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes.

Please note that this process pertains specifically to your Campus Network Account*. Ancillary accounts such as CSProd and FSProd may take additional time to rename.
