Queer & Trans 101: An Ally Training for Educators: Friday, February 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to noon in 246 Main

In the first half of this training, participants will examine concepts of gender, sex, and sexuality; become familiar with relevant terminology; and discuss issues impacting LGBTQIA + communities. The second half of the training includes suggestions and tips for creating LGBTQIA-inclusive classrooms as well as knowledge sharing, case study analysis, and discussion.  Facilitated by: Jen Hsu-Bishop and Marla Wick – GVSU
