On Friday afternoon, through a partnership with Broadway Grand Rapids, cast members from “STOMP” gave a master class to GRCC students and a small group of local middle school students. Later that evening, the college took a group of GRCC students to see the amazing show.

Morningstar sworn in as first female captain in Kentwood Police Department history

KENTWOOD – Stephanie Morningstar, formerly a Kentwood Police sergeant, was sworn in as a captain earlier this month, becoming the first woman in the department’s history to hold that title.
… On top of her duties with the department, she also is an adjunct professor at the police academy at Grand Rapids Community College.

New version of Classfinder to be released Jan. 29
On Monday, January 29th, a new version of the Classfinder tool will be released for use. College Scheduler, the company we contract for our student scheduling tool, developed a new interface for guests to search for classes. The current link on the home page will be redirected to the new version on Monday morning. You will observe a cleaner and simpler interface, and the search results will be easier to review and contain more detailed information.
