Continuing to teach driver’s education for 37 years says a lot about the perseverance of Hastings resident Jack Longstreet, who taught and coached in Stanton and Hastings.

… After high school, he attended Grand Rapids Community College, when it was called a junior college, and then transferred to Western Michigan University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in social studies, history and coaching in 1969.

eLearning software update

As of February 1, 2018, Human Resources is no longer utilizing Skillsoft for our compliance trainings. We are currently in the process of identifying an eLearning software provider. As soon as we have more information, we will be sure to share it with you. If you have questions regarding compliance, visit our GRCC Policies webpage. Note: The compliance trainings you completed in Skillport will be transferred to your Peoplesoft Training Summary. Learn about new Lightboard Room

GRCC now has a Lightboard Room for faculty and staff. It’s a new system that allows the user to create short videos for the classroom using a Lightboard, which is much like a white board in a traditional classroom but can be shown on the screen with the user.
