Foods for Healthy Weight Workshop

In this course you will learn about foods that will free you from counting calories and measuring portions… Power up your plate, maintain a healthy weight, and feel great! Class includes cooking demonstration and sampling.
Objectives:
– Learn how to identify common foods that lead to weight gain
– Describe elements of meals that lead to satiation to control cravings
– Learn how to identify common foods that are low in calorie density and satisfying
– Describe easy methods of healthy food preparation
