Come get your fruits and vegetables at the mobile Farmers Market.  The YMCA Veggie Van will be out on the Juan Olivarez Commons from 11am-Noon.  All forms of payment are accepted.

Road Work near DeVos Campus!

Beginning Monday, May 21st, the City will begin a resurfacing project on Prospect between Fountain to Fulton.  The project is scheduled for May 21 thought June 15th.  The notice states that limited to no access to driveways will occur.  That may make it difficult to access the DeVos campus and the Admin building.  Additionally, due to our DeVos campus parking resurfacing project, parking is limited on the DeVos campus.  Please be aware of these issues if you need to visit the Admin building or Sneden Hall.  If parking by the Admin building is full, please use the student parking entrance and park on the top of the Sneden ramp.   Thank you for your patience!

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – Here in West Michigan, there’s a shortage of diverse preschool teachers in the workforce, so Aquinas College is working to make a difference through free training.
Here to tell us more about the PREP program is Dr. Nkechy Ezeh, the Early Childhood Education Program Director, along with Beanka Masefiade and Sirak Kurban, two of the PREP Recruiters.
(In the interview that follows, Kurban talks about creating partnerships with nonprofits, specifically mentioning GRCC.)

The first thing you may notice about Roodflore Winkels is her smile. Get to know her a bit, and her determination and accomplishments could very well make you smile.
… She plans to attend Grand Rapids Community College in the fall and pursue a career in accounting. She has secured an internship with a local accounting firm for part of the summer.
