Colleges, nonprofit work to increase diversity in health care workforce

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The Grand Rapids African American Health Institute (GRAAHI) and seven West Michigan colleges are partnering to increase diversity in the health care workforce by reducing barriers to minority students seeking educational opportunities.

… The higher education institutions involved in the initiative include: Grand Valley State, Davenport and Ferris State universities, Aquinas College, Calvin College, Grand Rapids Community College, and Hope College.

 

 

Course packs due August 8

Fall 2018 course pack files, orders, planners, and skus are due Wednesday, August 8. Please send updated files and planners to grcceprint@grcc.edu. Also, please make sure to contact the bookstore to let them know if you need a course pack for the semester and let them know if it is going to be a reprint of a previous or if it is new/changes have been made.

Students leave for Study Away trip to Spain

A group of GRCC students departs today for a Study Away trip to Salamanca, Spain! They will spend time with host families and participate in field trips — including an 800th anniversary celebration for the University of Salamanca.
