100 new jobs in Holland company expansion

HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — JR Automation is investing $4 million to expand in Holland, creating 100 jobs.
… Grand Rapids Community College is contributing $500,000 from the Michigan New Jobs Training Program and West Michigan Works! is providing $50,000 in training grants and workforce support to prepare the 100 new workers JR will hire.

HOLLAND — JR Automation Technologies LLC plans to invest $4 million into its facility in Holland Charter Township.
… As part of the investment, the Lansing-based Michigan Economic Development Corp. awarded the company a performance-based $800,000 Michigan Strategic Fund grant. Zeeland-based Lakeshore Advantage assisted the firm in working with local resources at Grand Rapids Community College and West Michigan Works!, according to a statement.

HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — JR Automation, a Holland-based manufacturer of custom automation technologies, is expanding its facilities in Holland, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation announced Wednesday.
… For training support, Grand Rapids Community College has offered $500,000 from the Michigan New Jobs Training Program. This program is designed to provide funding for training employees hired into new jobs paying at least 175 percent of minimum wage. The program allows for creative training options for their employers.
