We extend our condolences to Mursalata Muhammad in the English Department for the death of her 24 year-old godson, Lieutenant Junior Grade Asante McCalla. LT McCalla was reported missing at sea on August 19 and declared deceased on August 22, 2018. LT McCalla was an Officer in the Navy on the U.S.S. Lake Erie and died while on-duty serving our country.
