GRCC athletics partner with Grand Rapids Drive basketball this Friday

A graphic of the front and back sides of the special jerseys the Grand Rapids Drive will be wearing Friday night. Jerseys are blue with red trim, a red stripe on the front with the Grand Rapids skyline in white above the words "Grand Rapids," and the words "Raider Nation" on the back. The player's number is displayed on both front and back. There is a logo for the GRCC Raiders on the front and logos for both the NBA and the G League on the back.

The Grand Rapids Drive basketball team supports Grand Rapids Community College, and we’re celebrating our collaboration with a GRCC Night on Friday, November 30!

Drive players that night will join the Raider Nation, wearing wear special jerseys highlighting GRCC Athletics. The evening also will raise money for GRCC athletic scholarships.

All GRCC students, faculty, staff, and alumni can get a 20% discount on tickets for this game and others when purchased through the Drive website, www.nbagrandrapids.com.

GRCC athletes will help with a basketball toss contest, with some of the proceeds supporting GRCC athletic scholarships.

Scholarships also will get a boost from the auction of special jerseys during the game, with winners getting an opportunity to meet players and pose for photos.

Come on out and support GRCC athletics and cheer on the Drive! The game starts at 7 p.m. and is at the DeltaPlex, 2500 Turner Ave NW, Grand Rapids.
