Rees Scholarship Foundation gives $65,000 to aspiring HVACR technicians
The Clifford H. “Ted” Rees, Jr. Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), and the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), recently announced scholarship awards totaling $65,000 to 39 students, including five military veteran program recipients, studying to become technicians in the HVACR and water heating industry.

Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance announces resignation of executive director
On Wednesday, the Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance also known as LEDA, announced the resignation of Latoya Booker, the executive director. Booker has been in the role since the summer of 2017.
