Team members from across GRCC were able to learn more about how the Leslie E. Tassell M-TEC transforms lives through career skills programs.
The event was part of the 2018 Leadership Institute’s InteGReat CC project to share news about great things happening at the college. The event included M-TEC tours, a virtual welding contest, blood pressure readings with a healthcare protective clothing contest, Lean pipe connecting challenges, and a “make and take” step stool project.
Antonio Aguillon finished first in the welding simulation contest, followed by Lila Herdegen and Dave Murray.
Joe Courtade was tops in the Lean pipe assembly, followed by Edward Walker and Brune Garcia.
Angie Ramirez had the best score with the personal protective equipment challenge, with Sonya Hernandez in second.
