GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC) is partnering with Gun Lake Casino to offer blackjack dealing classes this fall, and after successful completion of the course, the casino will interview students for jobs.

Monson: “There are a couple points we look at when we raise funds. One is for scholarships for our local programs, whether it be Grand Rapids Community College, KCTC. We also look at our current chefs. It is how our chefs learn new things in Grand Rapids and keep the food scene cool.”
WMU’s regional manufacturing lab installs new high-tech equipment

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—Western Michigan University’s regional state-of the-art manufacturing laboratory is receiving three new pieces of Autocam Medical manufacturing equipment this month to help build its prototyping capabilities.
… The lab and was developed in collaboration with Grand Rapids Community College and several manufacturing companies in the Grand Rapids area. The facility opened in 2018 and is currently in use by WMU graduate students in engineering programs and GRCC students in associate degree programs. Additional partnerships and programs are being planned for the facility.
