On Thursday, September 26th GRCC hosted its annual transfer fair. Thanks to amazing the weather the event was a resounding success. This event is important to our students as many do not have the opportunity to travel to meet with these schools. It allows students the opportunity to communicate and learn about all the possible transfer options available to them. They can ask questions, gather information and ultimately make an educated and informed choice about their transfer plans.
GRCC hosted over 65 institutions and 80 transfer representatives, a significant increase over last year when 42 schools attended. We estimate over 1,000 students came through the fair, talking to the different participants during this three hour event. The feedback from the students and representatives participating was resoundingly positive and all were appreciative of the opportunity this event affords them.
Thank you to all those around campus who helped make this event such a success.
