Belding’s Campbell earns first pitching win for Charleston University

CHARLESTON, W. Virginia — Belding native Logan Campbell made his 2020 debut on the mound for the University of Charleston Golden Eagles baseball team, earning a 2-1 win Saturday.
… With the Golden Eagles up 2-0, Campbell, who played with Mesa Community College in Arizona and then Grand Rapids Community College before transferring to Charleston, didn’t allow a run until the fifth inning before he was pulled for fellow teammate Jacob Kaiser, who finished off the Bulldogs, shutting them out the rest of the way.
