Boys & Girls Club launches mental health program

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Boys & Girls Club of Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth is kicking off a new program to help kids focus on their mental health.

… The program will run into 2021 and is supported by the Grand Rapids Police Department, Grand Rapids Public Schools, Grand Rapids Community College and Stockbridge Business Association.

Isabel Delgado, 19, was born and raised in Grand Rapids and graduated from Wellspring Preparatory High School in 2019. She has plans to attend GRCC in the fall full time. Recently, Delgado planned the March for Breonna Taylor, a Grand Rapids native who was killed by police in her own home in Lousville, KY.
