GRCC partners with farm organization to provide produce to students

Plainsong Farm, a nonprofit organization in Rockford, is the latest to partner with Grand Rapids Community College’s Office of Student Life to provide produce to students who need food during this pandemic.

Seven gallons of primer and five gallons of green, orange and purple paint were enough to create the backdrop for one of the latest additions to the Village of Spring Lake’s Art in the Park.

… (Nick) Nortier said he grew up drawing all of the time. He went to Grand Rapids Community College and took all of their art classes. Then he graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design with a degree in illustration.

Based on recruiting rankings, Michigan has had the most success recruiting the safety position over the past 20 years.

Overall ranking: No. 86

Dorsey was originally committed to Florida but later flipped to Michigan. However, he did not meet Michigan’s academic requirements and could not enroll. The four-star prospect from Fort Lauderdale, Florida ended up at Grand Rapids Community College instead.
