… Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC) can continue to help students struggling with food insecurity with support from a $48,796 grant from Kent County and the Heart of West Michigan United Way.

GRCC has offered curbside food distribution since March, providing more than 1,200 bags of food and other needed supplies, such as diapers and cleaning supplies. With the new grant, GRCC will continue providing food and other materials through the fall.

With 800 million active users around the world, TikTok has taken audiences by storm. But it’s U.S. audience could be getting smaller.

… Andrew Rozema is the Director of Grand Rapids Community College Center for Cyber Security Studies. He says banning TikTok, while it will decrease the number of dance memes in our lives, is not entirely a bad move.

… Michelle (LaJoye-Young) also served in the Army Reserves from 1985 through 1998 where she left as a Captain.  She obtained her Bachelors in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University, a Masters in Public Administration from Western Michigan University, MCOLES certification from Grand Rapids Community College, and graduated from Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command.
