Professional development opportunities related to equity focus on the people at the very beginning of the awareness process and fail to facilitate growth for people who see themselves as potential equity leaders. The next edition of the Cultural Competence Institute focuses on a deeper understanding of access and inclusion and how to transform organizational culture.

Guest Faculty:

Dr. Paul Gorski, founder of the Equity Literacy Institute and EdChange, has published more than 70 articles and has written, co-written, or co-edited twelve books on various aspects of educational equity. Paul is the author of the Multicultural Pavilion, an online compendium of free resources for educators.

Paul earned a Ph.D. in Educational Evaluation at the University of Virginia and has served as a teacher-educator at several universities for 15 years.
