Tech Tip: Helping Students Log In to Student Email

Do you frequently talk to students who either do not know how to access their student email account or don’t even know they have one? Below are a couple of knowledge base articles we suggest reading so that you may be able to assist students in those circumstances. Join the Retirees for a Dessert Reception on June 10

Celebrate and honor new Golden Raider Retirees at a Celebration on Friday June 10. There are over 100 employees that have retired from GRCC since our last Retiree Celebration in Fall 2019!

Current GRCC employees are invited to a dessert reception at 12:30pm in Room 108 Sneden. Catch up and mingle with friends and former colleagues!

Coastal Container launching $25M expansion

Longtime WSCC baseball coach inducted in NJCAA Hall of Fame

GRAND JUNCTION, CO – Longtime Walters State baseball coach Ken Campbell was recently inducted into the NJCAA Baseball Hall of Fame.

Campbell was announced as a member of the Hall of Fame in 2020 but, due to COVID-19, was not officially inducted until the recent banquet at the JUCO World Series. Campbell went into the Hall of Fame with Lamar Community College’s Scott Crampton, Rick Hitt of South Florida State and Charlie O’Brien of Cecil College (Maryland) in the class of 2020 and Andrea Gordon of Diamond Sports, Doug Wabeke from Grand Rapids Community College, Rob Fournier of Wabash Valley and Jeff Johnson of Chipola from the class of 2022.

Beginning June 15, 2022, Microsoft will be retiring Internet Explorer.

If you are still using Internet Explorer as your default browser, please switch to another browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge.

Any applications or sites that are traditionally only accessible in Internet Explorer can be opened in Microsoft Edge using the Compatibility Mode feature.

Nominations open for 39th Annual GIANT Awards

Nominations are open for the 39th Annual GIANT Awards, scheduled to be presented Oct. 1, 2022.

The GRCC Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is accepting nominations for several awards and scholarships, including the distinguished GIANT among GIANTs honor. The deadline is Wednesday, June 22.

Grand Rapids Community College since 1983 has hosted the annual awards recognizing African-American people and organizations for their exceptional contributions in shaping the history and quality of life in Grand Rapids.

Each award is named after a community pillar that has demonstrated excellence and is a perpetual memorial to those notable contributions.

Honorees are scheduled to be announced in July. Ticket sales and sponsorships open on Aug. 12.
