Print Solutions Tip of the Day – Quick Copy vs. Print Order

Print Solutions has found that it is sometimes difficult to remember which avenue of printing you should choose when submitting your print order. Here is a tip on when to send for Quick Copy and when to send for a Print Order:

  • Quick Copy: Choose this option for classroom instructional black and white or color copy materials like tests, syllabus, reading assignments, ect. under 1,000 finished pieces with corner staple, 3-hole punch and cutting in half or quarters.
  • Printing Order: Choose this option for all other jobs including: College brand and image, Graphic design, variable data printing, Wide format printing, jobs with several cuts, folding, laminating, and advanced bindery. We can also fold insert into an envelope and mail.

Faculty – Print Solutions Needs Your Course Packs by 7/20/11

Print Solutions would like to let all the Faculty know they’re looking forward to start working on your course materials for Fall. Please have all course packs turned into Print Solutions no later than July 20 to ensure that your materials are ready for the start of classes.  They cannot guarantee timely completion of materials past this date. Please provide document sources and authors of any material that will require copyright clearance. This will help to expedite the printing.
