Sean Mulhall and Jonathan Lopez are students who participated in the project along with Jennifer Ackerman-Haywood, advisor of GRCC’s Collegiate Newspaper and Katherine Morrison of Hospice of Michigan.

GRAND RAPIDS — Dave Sukup has racked up some pretty impressive numbers as Forest Hills Northern’s girls and boys tennis coach.
… Sukup played a year at the University of Michigan in Bo Schembechler’s first season in 1969 and later at Grand Rapids Community College and Grand Valley State University. He aspired to be a football coach, and he was a successful one at FHN. Sukup coached the Huskies from 1983-1998, and only once did the Huskies finish under the .500 mark, and that was 4-5 in his final season.

Potter grew up playing on a homeschool team, travel teams in Rockford and spent one season at Mount Vernon Nazarene in Ohio. He decided to switch to Grand Rapids Community College instead of mounting a huge student loan debt in college.
