Classroom Computer Upgrades

Over the next three weeks, the IT Desktop Support team will be upgrading all teacher stations / multimedia computers in all of our classrooms. If you have saved any files locally to the hard drive please back them up as soon as possible.

Additionally, we will also be upgrading the following labs on campus:

Cook:

  • 100*
  • 402*

Midtown:

  • 306 (laptop cart)
  • 309*

Thompson MTec:

  • 109*
  • 111*

Main:

  • 339

* indicates systems that will also be migrated to Windows 10.

 

ATC Tutorial and Open Computer Lab to accommodate students with laptops

The ATC Tutorial and Open Computer Lab is making room for student with laptops!

Starting March 12, students will be able to work in the lab and get help tutoring while using their laptops. There will be approximately 20 desks and 3 high top tables, both areas with electricity that seat two individuals to plug in their laptops. Students will also be able to sit along the window in five soft seating areas to accommodate battery-operated laptops.
