So Long and Fare Well From Lieutenant Harold Woolworth

GRCC Police Lieutenant Harold Woolworth bids the college a fond farewell:

So long and fare well…

I would like to take a moment out of this busy season to thank everyone for all the help, assistance, cooperation and friendship that I have received these past years here at GRCC. As many of you know, I will be retiring at the end of this month. On January 1st, after 37 years in law enforcement, I will become a private citizen. I’ve decided it’s time to start new adventures.

I have so many fond memories that I will be taking with me.

Again, Thanks to everyone.

I hope everyone has a Happy (and safe) Holiday season.

We’ll see you around the next bend.

  1. Best wishes to you and your family. I am considering retirement too. Perhaps during one of your travels we will be reunited. Best of luck and have a great and enjoyable life after GRCC.

    Your friend, Wanda Acevedo-Ferrer

  2. Thanks Harold for taking such good care of all of us for all these years….I certainly appreciate you….Coach P, GRCC Softball

  3. You’ve always been one of my favorite colleagues to work with at GRCC; even when we were all strained at the peak of a crisis situation you always had a pleasant, professional and easygoing way of handling things that was reassuring. Thanks also on behalf of the students, most of whom are unaware of all your advocacy for them to keep the campus safe.

Thanks for everything you’ve given the GRCC community. Best wishes on all you’re still going to accomplish.

    – Derek
