Volunteer your face or send your students down to be in the new GRCC Completion Campaign videos at 1 p.m. today in the Calkins Mesozoic Garden. Come any time from 1-2 p.m., this afternoon. The task is simple: all you have to do is sit in a chair for :30 seconds while Noah and Klaas from the Media Department capture footage of your face. It’s that easy! Volunteers get a free parking pass!

Cootie Catcher Nature Game

Here is an idea for older preschoolers and school age kids to get them outdoors and in touch with nature during the summer months. Most children can make their own Cootie Catchers with a little help from an adult or older child. This activity is a wonderful way to develop vocabulary and encourage creative problem-solving. It can be done anywhere outdoors on the sidewalk, in the backyard, or in a park.

… His father, Teddy Jackson, wasn’t the only one in his corner when things got rough, his mother Delois Jackson, sister Lakrisha Jackson and girlfriend Dynasia Walker were there to uplift him, too. Prior to attending UAPB, Jackson enjoyed a solid two-year career at Grand Rapids Community College from 2010-12.

The Quiet Cafe will have an all new Breakfast Menu with more classic favorites & original options to satisfy anyone’s needs!

  • Served Monday thru Thursday from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
  • Lunch/Dinner will be served Monday thru Thursday 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

The Sneden Cafe is undergoing a complete remodel & will feature more hot food options!
