Faculty are asked to encourage their students to register to vote if they have not already done so. Registering to vote (and voting!) addresses several elements of our Social Responsibility Institutional Learner Outcomes. To vote in the November 8, 2016 elections, you must be registered to vote by October 11, 2016.
The Library & Learning Commons will hold a registration event – open to students, faculty and staff:
Tuesday, September 13 | Library & Learning Commons | 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
To vote, you must be an American citizen, 18 years old by November 8, 2016 and possess MI driver’s license, MI ID, or Social Security card. If you’re not sure you’re registered, check the Michigan Voter Information Center website. Please note, if you have moved recently or legally changed your name, you must register again.
